Topographical Survey is carried out to determine the characteristics of the details found on the surface of the earth like (building, compound wall, roads, nala, drain, pole’s, tree, boundary, canals etc) and based on these inputs topographic maps are prepared. In continuation to this Contour survey is carried out to find out the volume of soil compute cutting filling quantities; these maps are used in the planning stages of projects to help to design the layout and locations of the building, parking, roads, etc.
Contour Survey & Level Survey are carried out to find the difference in elevation of the existing ground. Contours are imaginary lines connecting the slopes of same height. The contour maps provide the condition of the existing terrain conditions, which helps the design team in deciding the proposed ground profile and in designing the drains & compute the volume of cutting and filling while analyzing a ground profile for proposed industrial complexes, buildings, roads, strengthening and widening of roads leveling of excavating the existing ground to the required depth etc.
Route Survey is carried out to locate the alignment for proposed Roads, Pipelines, Transmission Lines, Canals, etc. for laying, strengthening and widening of existing/proposed structure and the sectional profile with the topographic information of the survey corridor helps the designers to design the particular structure considering the practical feasibilities. Gathering the Permitions of NH, SH, Canal, Railway, Forest from the related authorities.
Set-Out Survey is carried out to mark the locations of the ground, as per the drawings. These services are used in both preconstruction and post construction activities.
These are carried out to establish network of points called Control Points or Control Stations. These points can be used for the subsequent measurements that are to be recorded at the site. Establishing the control points calls for most precision, as this will have direct bearing of the accuracy of the final survey to be carried out at the project site.
The cadastral surveys are conducted periodically to locate and demarcate land boundaries on ground and map and than to facilitate management of land parcel information. Land records in India consist of cadastral survey and mapping, recording cadastral information, land evaluation and planning. The cadastral surveys are important because invariably these surveys are linked with ownership of the property. The cadastral systems support the legal ownership of the land, depiction of legal and topographical aspects including area and parcel boundaries. Depiction of legal & topographical aspects of the land becomes more important if it pertain to urban/town property.
Mapping / Drawing
GIS stands for - Geographical Information System (GIS). It is a Digital Mechanism that captures, stores, analyzes, manages, and presents data that are linked to locate their accurate global position on earth via global satellites. In the simplest terms, GIS is the merging of cartography and database technology. GIS systems are used in cartography, remote sensing, land surveying, photogrammetry, geography, urban planning emergency management, navigation and localized search engines.
GIS technology can used for scientific investigations, resource management, asset management, archaeology, environmental impact assessment, urban planning, cartography, criminology, geographic history, prospectivity mapping, and other purposes.
GIS might allow emergency planners to easily calculate emergency response time in the event of a natural disaster, GIS can be used by a company to site a new business location to take advantage of a previously under served market
CAD is a drawing software used to prepare the drawings on the computer based on the data collected by the surveyors of different works. It helps the clients to understand & decide where, why and when they can lay their existing or proposed structures.
Geological & Geo Technical Survey
Geological - Geotechnical Survey consists of Explorations & Investigations of soil, Geo-physical Survey, Mining survey, Geo hydrology & related minerals, rocks and water analysis. In short it is a process to rectify the strength, humidity or mineral contents of the soil, etc.
